Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Truxello IFTA mobile application and related services ("Truxello IFTA", the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Truxello IFTA is not tax advice. The Service produces calculations, estimates, and report summaries from the records you enter, using published tax-rate data. You are responsible for verifying every figure against your own records and the official rates published by your base jurisdiction before filing, and for the accuracy and timeliness of any return you submit. Truxello IFTA is a record-keeping and planning tool — it does not file returns on your behalf and is not a substitute for a licensed tax professional.

1. The Service

Truxello IFTA helps you record miles driven per jurisdiction, log fuel purchases and receipts, compare fuel costs across states, and generate quarterly IFTA report summaries you can use to prepare your filing.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The free plan includes limited usage (such as a capped number of fuel logs and reports per quarter).
Paid plans (Pro monthly, Annual) unlock unlimited logs and reports and additional features, at the prices shown in the app at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and refunded under those stores' terms.

4. Your data

You own the records you enter. We store and process them to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your reports and delete your data at any time. IFTA regulations require carriers to keep supporting records (trip sheets, receipts) for at least four years — keep your own copies.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with operation, or using the Service to violate any law.

6. Intellectual property

Truxello IFTA and its software, design, and content are owned by us and our licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights other than the right to use the Service.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tax rates, fuel prices, and savings estimates are based on published and third-party data that may change or contain errors. We do not warrant that calculations will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truxello IFTA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for tax assessments, penalties, interest, or audit outcomes arising from your filings. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 4–8 survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
