Truxello ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Transportation Management System (TMS) platform, including our web application and mobile application (collectively, the "Service").

The Truxello Driver mobile application collects precise location (GPS) data from drivers in order to share the driver's position with their carrier's dispatch team, provide accurate pickup and delivery ETAs to brokers and customers, and support trip records and compliance reporting.
Background location collection. With the driver's explicit consent, the app collects location data in the background — that is, even when the app is closed or not in use. Background collection only occurs while the driver is assigned to an active load, and stops automatically once that load is completed or cancelled. Before any background location permission is requested, the app displays an in-app disclosure explaining what is collected and why, and the driver must affirmatively accept it.
Your control. Granting background location is optional. If a driver declines, the app continues to function using foreground-only location updates. Drivers can revoke location permissions at any time in their device settings without losing access to the app.
Sharing and retention. Location data is shared only with the carrier organization that the driver belongs to, and with brokers or customers to the limited extent needed to report load status and ETAs. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising. Location history is retained for the period required to support billing, dispute resolution, and applicable transportation recordkeeping obligations.
Truxello lets you connect your own Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account so that invoices, factoring submissions, and broker emails you send from Truxello leave from your own address and replies come back to your own inbox. Connecting an account is optional. If you do not connect one, Truxello sends these emails from its own domain instead.
When you connect an account, you authorize Truxello through Google's or Microsoft's own sign-in screen. We request only:

It cannot read, search, modify, or delete anything in your mailbox.userinfo.email; Microsoft: email), so we can show which address your messages will be sent from.We do not request, and have no access to, your inbox, existing messages, contacts, calendar, or files.
We use this access only to send messages that you compose or trigger yourself inside Truxello, to the recipients you choose: for example, sending an invoice to a broker or a packet to your factoring company. We never send email from your account on our own initiative, and never for marketing.
We do not read, copy, or store the contents of your mailbox. A copy of each message we send for you appears in your own Sent folder, as if you had sent it yourself.
We do not sell data obtained through Google or Microsoft APIs, do not share it with third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models. Truxello staff do not read it, except with your explicit permission to investigate a support request, where necessary for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law.
Truxello's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect an account at any time in Truxello under Integrations → Connected Inbox. Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens immediately and, for Google accounts, revokes Truxello's access with Google. You can also remove access from your side at any time through your Google Account permissions or your Microsoft account permissions. Deleting your Truxello account deletes all connected-account data.
If you choose to sign in to Truxello with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, and use them only to create and sign in to your Truxello account.
Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
